Who needs an EPC?
You usually need a domestic EPC when you sell or rent a home. Landlords, agents and homeowners also use one to understand how a property is performing now.
What happens during the visit
I walk through the property and record how it is built and heated. Most visits take around an hour, depending on size and access. I will confirm timing when we book.
How to prepare
Please make sure I can reach the loft hatch, heating controls and each main room. If you have paperwork for insulation, a boiler or other work, have it ready.
